How to style: Maxi Skirts

Maxi skirts
Now that S/12 collection should be fully released into all high street stores, maxi skirts will be prominent in all the fashion headed stores such as New Look, River Island, ASOS, Next and more. A maxi skirt can be dressed in many ways to create a different look. It is the way you incorporate it into your own personal style. Maxi dresses are well known to be suited for the summer/spring season and very trendy, but maxi skirts are a perfect opportunity to mould the look into how you would create a maxi dress look.

For example:
Vanessa hudgens has quite a Boho edge to her outfit with the floral design to the skirt paired with the cream sheer top.

This is my favorite look, it is very classy, polished and chic look worn by Kate Bosworth. I love the colours and materials.

Nicola Roberts has created more of a indivual, edgier style by choosing to cover her top part of her maxi skirt. The high neck top with the electic design creates fashion headed outfit.

Pixie Lott has opted for more of an gothic look. Nevertheless it is still girly as the maxi skirt material is flowey and has a polka dot design. Her leather jacket and cross designed necklaces empahsise pixies dark look.

These different looks have inspired me to share with you my take on different looks on wearing maxi skirts. Any person with any style can feel confident wearing a maxi skirt and be fashionable.

I am not directly trying to replicate the looks displayed above, I have merely been inspired by them.
